Intelecom has signed with StatoilHydro. Late August Intelecom signed the contract with StatoilHydro, which covers the total responsibility of  service and support for all speach solutions and telephony services for StatoilHydro. "The collaboration with StatoilHydro is a result of our long term strategic focus on the Oil and Gas Segment", says Birgitte E. Johannessen, CEO i Intelecom Norge AS.

Intelecom will be responsible for service and support for telephony solutions throughout StatoilHydro's 39 500 employees in 40 countries. This contract is signed for a period of  5 + 1 + 1 + 1 years.

Intelecom will be responsible all service, support and operations of 47.000 lines split between solutions from Digimat, Alcatel-Lucent, Aastra Ericsson, Nortel og Cisco, in addition to the responsibility of several speach related applications. Intelecom will create an operation team that will work onsite with StatoilHydro in Stavanger. Delivery will start in December 2009.
