Alcatel telephony

Modern telephony solutions usually include an IP telephony solution and offer flexible use of the company's data network for both data and telephony traffic. This can produce substantial savings on the cost of traffic between the company's different departments while also cutting operating costs.
Modern multimedia PCs can be equipped with headsets or telephone receivers allowing them to be used as phones. Such solutions may employ traditional wired digital telephones combined with IP telephone equipment.
Alcatel-Lucent makes this combination highly cost-effective; existing installations can be expanded to include offshoots based on IP. The user does not need to know which technology his solution is based on and the range of services is equally broad, regardless of how it is cabled.
Savings over WANs can be greater. Offshoots or branch offices can work with the rest of the system across national borders and across the organisation. Such offshoots previously had to be set up on separate leased connections; with IP-based telephony this becomes a single connection. This brings with it operational benefits as well as the potential to allocate bandwidth dynamically, offering major savings in operating costs.
Intelecom is also experienced in IP telephony on networks without priority management over the Internet. We can supply services to test the data network, focusing on voice transmission. Alcatel-Lucent is our primary supplier of such systems.
Our experiences of such telephony solutions also have a social side. A network of shared telephony inspires significantly better team spirit and sense of community in the organisation. This is true especially in situations where the offshoots are located very far apart, on the other side of the globe, even.
